Re: Outstanding Exterior Renovation of Our Home!

Dear Fred,

When Donna and I decided to replace the Masonite siding on our ten year-old house,

I, believed that it would be important to solicit several estimates from contactors. I'm not

certain why I felt that way, people had told me that "everybody charges about the same

price," but I also know that service, not price, can make a sale.

Donna and I received three price estimates. The quoted price with each estimate was

about the same, but there was a a striking difference in how the estimates was presented

to us and how we came to a deal:

ˇ        Fred Tripodo, President of his Company, Preferred Exterior Designs, visited us

to discuss our house needs and siding options;

ˇ        Only Fred Tripodo and Preferred Exterior Designs, presented as its first price an

all-inclusive price. The Preferred Exterior Deigns price included painting of

ALL house trim, including soffits and fascia, gutters, shutters, doors, our screen

porch trim (and the porch ceiling!), pressure-washing of the three brick sides of

the home, painting of all of the house's windows (including muntins for those

windows that had them!), all the windows are scraped of paint and then washed,

and no window is left so that it is painted shut. It really was a a soup to nuts

price! Other vendors quoted a la carte prices or left me to guess what items

would be included; the inclusive price from the other vendors became

substantially higher when all of this work was included.

ˇ        Fred and I looked at each other and shook hands. Donna and I never signed a

contract with Preferred Designs; I paid Fred a draw against materials. Mr

Tripodo said he would have a crew come on Monday. The crew arrived at the

time Mr .Tripodo stated they would arrive. Fred Tripodo and Preferred

Exterior Designs delivered all the promised work, superbly done with a

wonderful crew and with high quality materials, at the promised price.

The work on the house is spectacular and the pride in workmanship obvious. The house

looks fantastic from afar and will withstand the pickiest up close inspection. Paint lines

are straight, trim work is superb, and Armando, the Crew Chief, did an outstanding job

assisting with color selections for the house and explaining the installation process.

We've placed the house on the market and Donna I agree on several things things: we

wish we had done this work sooner to enjoy both the beauty of the house and the benefit

of the Tyvek to this drafty not-so-old house; we believe with our realtor that our home

will sell faster and for a higher price due to your Company's work.

Fred Tripodo and his company, Preferred Exterior Designs, LLC, installed all new James Hardie Siding, Tyvek house-wrap, and a complete Sherwin- Williams paint job on my house here, in Willow Creek a year ago. I am completely satisfied with the material and craftsmanship Fred provided on our home.

I received two other highly qualified proposals before selecting Fred. He was honest and straightforward from the beginning. He provided a complete written proposal which included a few alternatives. Upon acceptance, he began work promptly. He made every effort possible to satisfy my particular requests. The project was adequately staffed. His crew was clean, efficient and courteous. I was impressed at the speed at which they transformed our home. They responded favorably to every issue that arose during the process. Fred's requests for payment were timely and reasonable. In the end, the work met my, Dupont/Tyvek and James Hardies approval. He has responded to follow-ups as requested over the past year.

We worked together previously, when he re-roofed my house. I invited his proposal after that experience and the recommendation of a neighbor whose house Fred had re-sided nearby. He helped make a difficult experience a lot easier. I would highly recommend Fred and Preferred Exterior Designs, LLC to other homeowners.

Be sure to investigate all the advantages of Hardie Siding, Dupont/Tyvek house-wrap and Sherwin- Williams paint before you re-side. LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

Fred Tripodo, Gold Level Contractor, owner of Preferred Exterior Designs, LLC, replaced the siding and painted our house in April of 2007.

We had all the siding removed and Hardiplank siding installed. The complete job was very well done and very fast. From the beginning till completion, it took only 8 days. Each day the yard was completely cleaned up with no mess left behind. There was no damage to any of the landscaping that was around the house.

We are very pleased with the workmanship. The siding installers and the painters did an excellent job.

The overall experience was very positive. Mr. Tripodo stands behind the work and basically will do whatever it takes to make the customer happy.

            I am writing this letter to you not only to thank you for the excellent job you've done on my house, but, to inform prospective clients about it.

           I am currently living in Denver, CO and own a house in Smyrna, GA. My house was built in 1981 and was in need of some exterior repairs. I was looking to replace the existing siding with Hardie Plank and change the color scheme. After doing much research, making many phone calls and gathering estimates from my home in Denver I decided to go with Preferred Exterior Designs to do the work.

          During the course of the work, Fred was in contact with me updating the progression of the work. He'd explained everything to me as they went along.
